Acquisition of Pretty Legs Holdings Ltd by H&R Healthcare Ltd
H&R Healthcare Ltd are pleased to announce the acquisition of Pretty Legs Holdings Ltd.
Pretty Legs Holdings is a leading UK manufacturer of medical and consumer hosiery, including the Saphena and Pretty Legs brands, and through its Medalin subsidiary is the UK’s leading manufacturer of prosthetic socks.
Mike Hoskins Managing Director of H&R Healthcare Ltd commented: ‘H&R Healthcare Ltd already distribute the Saphena brand of medical hosiery on behalf of Pretty Legs so this acquisition is a logical extension of that relationship and further allows us to invest in a group of companies which has a long-standing reputation for producing innovative, high quality textile garments. Pretty Legs Holdings will add to our existing Leicester based business, CUI International, a major UK manufacturer of hernia and ostomy support wear, to create a UK Centre of Excellence with expertise in the development and manufacture of specialist textiles.’
