sorbion sachet S can actively bind and retain large quantities of fluid through its Hydration Response Technology even under compression!

sorbion sachet S swells in volume thereby supplementing the pressure exerted by the compression therapy system. The dressing is designed not to take up fluid at its margins, this reduces the risk of indentation on vulnerable peri ulcer skin. Since the exudate cannot leak back the condition of the peri wound skin is improved and there is less risk of maceration. Additional layers of dressings, which can be bulky and reduce the effectiveness of compression therapy are not required. This improves outcomes and reduces costs.
