Two-layer compression system
AndoFlex TLC with malodour control is a lightweight, low profile, two-layer compression system designed to treat venous leg ulcers and other related conditions.
Unique to the system are its visual indicators (provided for ease of application) and its odour and itch control properties.
AndoFlex TLC delivers a two-step short stretch performance with high working pressure and low resting pressure.
Layer 1 consists of a soft low profile, conformable absorbent foam layer which contains Cyclodextrin (a natural odour-reducing agent) and itch control properties. It provides excellent moisture vapour transfer rate that wicks away drainage to help keep the peri-wound skin dry.
Layer 2 is a hand tearable cohesive short-stretch bandage. The addition of the visual indicators helps to achieve accurate application.
Together the layers form a mechanical bond to prevent slippage and prolong wear time. The system can provide continuous restorative compression for up to one week. The kit includes nylon stocking for ease of movement under clothes and on bed sheets.
Introducing….visual indicators
The visual indicators are now available on all AndoFlex TLC systems to aid with the ease of application and deliver the intended continuous levels of compression.
How does it work?
When to use which kit?
AndoFlex TLC – this system is designed for patients with an ABPI ≥ 0.8 and provides 35-40mmHg of sub-bandage pressure at the ankle.
AndoFlex TLC Lite – offers a solution for patients that are less tolerant of compression and with an ABPI of ≥0.5. This system provides 25-30mmHg of sub-bandage pressure at the ankle.
AndoFlex TLC XL – for taller, larger or patients with misshapen limbs. The rolls in this kit are 1.8m longer than the standard length, reducing the need to open 2 kits. Suitable for patients with an ABPI ≥ 0.8 and provides 35-40mmHg compression.

AndoFlex TLC is designed to treat venous leg ulcers and other related conditions.
AndoFlex TLC Standard and XL can be used for patients with an ABPI ≥ 0.8.
AndoFlex TLC Lite can be used for patients with an ABPI ≥ 0.5.
Contraindications
AndoFlex TLC Lite – not suitable for patients with an ABPI of < 0.5.
AndoFlex TLC Standard and XL – not suitable for patients with an ABPI of < 0.8.
Layer 1
Position the foot at a 90˚ angle.
1. Begin wrapping Layer 1 on the top of the foot, at the base of the fifth digit in a spiral technique
2. Continue spiral wrapping across the top of the foot then proceed to wrap 1 figure of 8 around the back of the heel / ankle. The plantar surface of the heel may be left partially exposed
3. Continue spiral wrapping up the leg. Apply with a 50% overlap using just enough tension to conform to the shape of the leg, ending just below the knee
4. Cut or hand-tear excess materials and tape to keep the bandage in place
Layer 2
Position the foot at a 90˚ angle.
1. Begin wrapping Layer 2 on the top of the foot, at the base of the fifth digit in a spiral technique
2. Hold the bandage with thumb and stretch until the ovals become circles. Begin spiral wrapping across the top of the foot, then proceed to wrap two figure of 8’s around the back of the heel / ankle completely covering the heel and foot. Continue the maintain even tension by stretching the visual indicators from ovals to circles to ensure the correct compression therapy is provided
3. Continue to spiral wrap up the leg covering Layer 1 with 50% overlap while maintaining even tension
4. Cut or hand-tear excess materials
5. Gently press over entire application to ensure a strong bond and reduce slippage
6. Apply Nylon stocking over the system for ease of movement in footwear, under clothes and bed sheets
Removal: remove with bandage scissors or by unwrapping.
