Advanced Compression System for the Treatment of Venous Leg Ulcers

The Carolon Multi-Layer Advanced Compression System Consists of Two Stockings: an Under-Stocking and an Over-Stocking.


The Under-stocking

  • Allows for 16-18mmHg compression at night for continued compression therapy
  • Fits easily over the primary dressing providing moderate compression
  • Double-bound fabric, reduces sheer forces on surrounding skin and helps protect the wound
  • Flared without compression at toe area for correct fitting and comfort
  • Facilitates the application of the over-stocking, no application aid required

The Over-Stocking

  • Superior sheer or sock fabric
  • 2-way stretch properties which assists application and improves patient comfort

Precise Compression

  • The under-stocking is manufactured using 26 different knit patterns to provide precise performance either as a multi stocking system or as a single stocking
  • Both layers have been created to work together ensuring controlled, accurate, consistent compression

Choice Of Two Different Compression Levels

  • 30-35mmHg for improved patient comfort and concordance
  • 35-40mmHg for more severe venous leg disorders
  • Available in Black and Beige

The 30-35 mmHg is an option for non-concordant lymphoedema patients
